| Certified copy of the Nepalese citizenship and of the transcript of highest level of study completed are needed. |

4. What is the process of getting recommendation for foreign currency? |
| Upon payment of a fee of Rs. 1200.00 and form fee Rs. 50.00, a form is received from the scholarship section. The documents mentioned in that form such as attested Photostat copies of citizenship certificate, of the confirmation letter or I-20, of the visa or conditional letter for visa, of the passport and of the transcript of one level below the level in which one is going to study must be submitted. |

5. What must be done to go to study in scholarship? |
| One must appear in the entrance examination to be conducted by this Ministry and must be included in the merit list. |

6. When are examinations of scholarship selection committee taken? |
| Normally, the merit list of selection examination of MBBS and Engineering is valid for the merit list. Program of selection examination is set having evaluated the seats to be available on its basis. For scholarship of other levels and subjects, notice is published upon receipt of scholarship seats. |

7. Which qualification is required to appear in scholarship selection examination? |
| The minimum qualification stated in the public notice to be published for scholarship selection examination is required. |

| Nomination is based on the bases of the published merit list and the priority selected by the candidates. |

| There is no certainty as to seats for scholarship. About 125 seats per year are available in medical colleges being conducted in Nepal and seats to be made available by foreign countries. |

| Application must be submitted within the time prescribed in the public notice published in the Gorkhapatra upon receipt of the scholarship seats. Nomination is made pursuant to clause 8. |

| Application may be given for re-totaling having paid the prescribed fee. |
